Who should apply
The One Basin CRC Leadership Program is designed for emerging leaders who are passionate about the Murray–Darling Basin and ready to invest in their own growth.
This program is for people who are already making an impact in their sector and looking to deepen their leadership capabilities. Whether you work in research, policy, agriculture, NRM, water management, engineering, economics, community leadership, or any of the other fields shaping the Basin, this program is built for people who want to lead with purpose and contribute to the Basin’s long-term future.
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Emerging leaders with a demonstrated commitment to their sector and the Basin
- Open to honest self-reflection and personal development
- Ready to engage meaningfully with a mentor and a cohort of peers
- Motivated to grow their cross-sector networks and broaden their perspectives
The program welcomes applicants from across the Basin’s diverse workforce, from those early in their careers to mid-career professionals looking to take the next step. We strongly encourage applications from First Nations people. The program works around your life and career. After the two-day opening retreat, participation is designed to fit alongside your existing professional commitments.
No cost to you
Participation is completely free. The CRC covers travel and accommodation for the Renmark retreat, removing barriers so the right people can take part.
