One Basin annual event – Impact Together

We were absolutely delighted to host so many of our partners at our first annual event earlier in August: Impact Together.
The event not only celebrated the first anniversary of our CRC but was a collective step forward on our 10-year partnership, with a focus on forging connections and strengthening relationships.
Around 140 partner representatives attended the event which was held near Albury on the banks of Lake Hume.
The first day was largely dedicated to sharing information, with activities including presentations from our regional hubs, updates on the quickstart program, information on the co-design process, and some facilitated reflection time.
Day 1 also included a session on First Nations Engagement, hosted by First Nations people from different parts of the basin. We’d like to extend our gratitude to these First Nations participants for their presentations and for their contributions throughout the event.
Day 2 was a more experimental and interactive day, with participants working through three themes – awareness, alignment and action – via various hands-on group activities. We will be working through the outputs of these sessions and using them to inform CRC planning going forward.
Many thanks to everyone who attended, for your time, your contributions and your enthusiastic participation. We hope you enjoyed the opportunity to help shape the future of the CRC, and returned home with strengthened connections across the CRC family.
