Regenerative agriculture is an alternative sustainable practice to manage our agricultural landscape and as a potential solution to degraded land. This project will analyse hydrological impact of regenerative agriculture across the basin.

This project is exploring uses for organic waste streams, such as rice straw and timber industry by-products, aiming to create a sustainable and innovative regional ecosystem. This effort brings together local industry, government agencies, producer groups, community members, researchers, and technical experts in a unified partnership.

The project explores how river flows affect the wellbeing of regional river towns and how costs and benefits are distributed within small communities.
