Experience
Professor Seth Westra has over 15 years’ research and consulting experience across both academia and industry. He has contributed to the fields of hydrology, water resource assessments and flood and climate risk, focusing on how research can serve industry and societal needs.
He has a track record of leading interdisciplinary teams to achieve industry-focused research outcomes. Currently, he is leading a $5m project focused on developing digital technologies to support on-farm decision making. This involves managing multiple organisations and a diverse research team comprising of viticulturists, computer scientists, engineers, spatial scientists and economists.
